The international platform of NGOs working for Palestine stated that the raiding of Israeli forces on four Palestinian civil organizations offices is the latest attack on the civil society by the Israeli authorities  in the occupied Palestinian territories, the platform had sent a complaint on this particular incidents to the Special Rapporteur on Rights to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967,  the Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders.

The international platform explained in a press release issued on Saturday, that on September 19th at dawn the Israeli occupation forces raided the offices of Al-Dameer Prisoner and Human Rights and Al-Hadaf Center for Studies, the headquarters of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the headquarters of the Union of workers in services and entrepreneurship, the Israeli forces  confiscated files and equipment and electronic devices and carried out acts of sabotage the contents of the four institutions offices.

The platform noted that these arbitrary measures are part of a campaign to restrict Palestinian civil society organizations, furthermore, to sabotage their work and sources of funding, also to damage their image and incite it. These raids are part of a wider campaign against Palestinian human rights and civil society organizations and its employees.

Reflecting the demands of "urgent and effective action" to stop the "grave and systematic" violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities against civil institutions, the international platform of NGOs working for Palestine sent a complaint note in particular to Mr. "Clement Nyaletsossi voule" the Special Rapporteur on Rights to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly, and Mr.” S. Michael Lynk” the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967, and Mr,” Michel Forst” the special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders.

In the letter of complaint, the International Platform denounced the continued policy of the Israeli occupation forces to raid and attacks the headquarters of community and civil institutions, confiscating their contents and threaten their employees, also It considered that these attacks are considered as a serious violation of human rights and the rules of the international humanitarian law, and that such attacks are part of a wider campaign that attacking  the Palestinian civil society organizations and trying to close and distort their work, and arrest and restrict the right of freedom of movement these organizations employees.

At the end of the letter, the platform called for the need for urgent and effective action to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to stop their massive and systematic violations against Palestinian community organizations.
